OJSC “Gulistoni Dushanbe” belongs to the largest enterprises of the production sectors of Tajikistan. The main types of products are women’s and men’s outerwear made of cotton, semi-woolen, synthetic and mixed fabrics.

OJSC “Gulistoni Dushanbe” belongs to the sphere of production of consumer goods and according to the classification of sectors of national economy belongs to the light industry. Establishment of “Gulistoni Dushanbe” OJSC was dictated by the need to provide wide employment to the population of the newly created capital of the republic – Dushanbe city and neighboring districts.

History

“Guliston” was known in Dushanbe back in Soviet times, as it is the founder of sewing production in Tajikistan.

In its history OJSC “Guliston Dushanbe” has gone a long way from a small factory sewing special clothes for militia, to the largest in the USSR sewing association named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR and its further transformation into a private enterprise – Closed joint-stock company “Guliston”.

It was founded on October 29, 1933 and was originally called Stalin sewing Factory No. 1. At the beginning of its activity OJSC “Guliston Dushanbe” had only one cutting and two sewing workshops, the factory had 175 sewing machines and 300 employees. During the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the factory was engaged in sewing uniforms for militaries.

In 1964, the Stalin sewing factory No. 1 was renamed into the sewing firm “Guliston”, in 1972 – into the sewing production Association named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR. During this period, the production Association included the Dushanbe sewing firm – the parent enterprise, the Nurek sewing factory for children’s clothing, the Kurgan-Tuba sewing factory for men’s pants, the Khujand sewing factory for men’s shirts and children’s clothing, and the brand store “Dilshod”, which was engaged in the sale of finished products of the enterprises that were part of the Association.

In 1998, the production Association was dissolved and the Dushanbe sewing firm was renamed the Guliston sewing firm.

In 2000, the Guliston sewing firm was transformed into an Open-type joint stock company Guliston, and in 2002 it was privatized and became the Closed joint stock company Guliston.

In 2023, Guliston Dushanbe sewing Company increased production capacity, renovation and rebranding.

Окончил среднюю школу с золотой медалью. Учился в Худжандском госуниверситете по специальности «Экономика и управление производством». С 2005 года работает в ЗАО «Гулистон»: главным бухгалтером (июль 2005 г. — сентябрь 2007г.), финансовым директором (сентябрь 2007 г. — февраль 2008 г.), генеральным директором (с февраля 2008 года).
